Advertising & Publicity

Members receive 15% discount in the Alton Messenger. The newsletter is a 24” tabloid in full color, both in English and Spanish, printed every quarter and is delivered to approximately 4,000 households.

Promotional Display Area

Members are welcomed to display promotional material such as brochures, business cards, announcements, etc., in the lobby of the Chamber office.

Business Referral Service

Only Chamber members are referred to the public when requests/inquiries are made for the names of local business, professionals, service-oriented organizations/businesses, and various product oriented establishments.

Special Events

Members are encouraged to participate in the Chamber’s special events such as the Annual Gala and Christmas Parade. These events give members the opportunity to display and promote their business.

Ribbon Cuttings & Ground Breakings

The Chamber offers ribbon cuttings to new businesses in Alton and surrounding area at no cost to the business. Invitations are mailed to City of Alton Commission, Chamber Board of Directors and local newspaper via fax. Members who build a new facility are also encouraged to hold a groundbreaking ceremony prior to construction. (2 weeks advance notice required)
