Advertising & Publicity

   All members receive free listing and/or publicity in the Quarterly Alton Messenger. Members are encouraged to submit special announcement, news releases, photos and cut-lines for the monthly newsletter.

Promotional Display Area

   Members are welcomed to display promotional material such as brochures, business cards, announcements, etc., in the lobby of the Chamber office.

Business Referral Service

   Only Chamber members are referred to the public when requests/inquiries are made for the names of local business, professionals, service-oriented organizations/businesses, and various product oriented establishments.

Special Events

   Members are encouraged to participate in the Chamber's many special events such as the Alton Fiesta, Annual Gala, Back to School Fair, Business Conference and Christmas Parade. These events give members the opportunity to display and promote their business.

Ribbon Cuttings & Ground Breakings

   The Chamber offers ribbon cuttings to new businesses in Alton and surrounding area at no cost to the business. Invitations are mailed to City of Alton Commission, Chamber Board of Directors and local newspaper via fax. Members who build a new facility are also encouraged to hold a groundbreaking ceremony prior to construction. (2 weeks advance notice required)
